Turkey Burrito Bowl
Summer time is one of the busiest times of the year, if you ask me. There is always something to do, somewhere to go and if you are anything like me, the last thing you want to do on a nice sunny day, is spend a lot of time in the kitchen.
Lately I have been on the go almost everyday, just trying to enjoy the nice weather, family time and being outside more. I have not been spending a lot of time in the kitchen, like I do during the winter. I have been all about using leftovers, veggies and just putting meals together that do not require a lot of time or preparation.
Last night I enjoyed a delicious, quick and easy to make Turkey Burrito Bowl and all it took me was 5 minutes to make. For this, I simply used the leftover rice and turkey I had cooked the day before. All it took was a few minutes to warm them up and open a can of pinto beans. I also love eating veggies, especially during the summer, so I chopped up some tomatoes, green onions and shredded some carrots. There you have it, a simple and easy Turkey Burrito Bowl.
Of course, the idea is to use whatever you already have at home whether that is chicken or Tuna or just some vegetables . You can have a delicious and nutritious meal, that does not require a lot of preparation.
