It is no secret that I love making DIY’s using things that I already have at home. I am always thinking of ways to re-purpose the things that other people would just throw away. We received a DVD shelf for Christmas, from my in-laws, and before David had a chance to throw away the box, I grabbed it and hid it in the spare room. I knew I could make something useful and fun out of it.
So, here is a DIY on how to make coasters from cardboard. It was such an easy and fun DIY, it took me under 2 hours to make. I think the end result was great!
If there is one thing that I can eat over and over again, without getting tired of it, is pasta. I am a pasta lover and I am always trying new sauces and new ways to cook my pasta. Recently, I have been enjoying cooking light, refreshing and quick meals. I can’t stress enough how important it is for me to make quick and easy meals. It saves me a lot of time in the kitchen and there is less dirty dishes to clean up. It’s a win/win if you asked me!

A few months back I got this really cool empty glass jars from the Dollar Tree Store. I fell in love with them immediately! They were only a dollar, way less expensive than the mason jars that I have bought in the past. They are great as vases, makeup holders, pencil holders or even for your tooth brush!
I decided to make vases out of them. It is so easy to make, and it is a great way to add some color and decor to your home! (more…)
