DIY Floral Letter
I just wanted to share this easy DIY, I think it’s perfect in a little girls room or nursery. I made this one out of cardboard and I think it looks super cute! It is so easy to make and so much fun to do!
I originally saw the idea on pinterest, it was a dorm decor and made out of a wooden letter. However, I had so many empty boxes of diapers, that instead of getting rid of it, I decided to put it to good use and not spend money buying wooden letters! This one is made out of cardboard, like I said and fake flowers that I repainted myself to add a little pop of color.
Here is what you need
- glue gun and glue sticks
- scissors or box cutter
- a ruler and pencil
- fake flowers (you can buy them in different colors or just paint them like I did)
- acrylic paint and paint brushes (if you decide to paint the flowers yourself, otherwise, skip this)
- self-adhesive gems (it could be in different colors or just one single color is fine)
- scotch adhesive
Make sure the letter is covered with flowers, attach the adhesive gem to the center of the flowers (this will make them pop and look even prettier). Once you are all done, go ahead and attach the scotch adhesive and place the letter on the spot of the wall you want it. Voila! how pretty does that look! Let me know if you make this and how it turned out 🙂
If you liked this DIY, don’t forget to share it and spread the love!
